the postal system on guam has improved 110% since i first arrived on island. however, there are days when i wonder what the bleep is going on. my amazon package arrived in this condition; i suspect it was left on a loading dock or airport tarmac in the rain, then run over. ay, adai. well. on one hand, the box has been damaged so much the cardboard has the consistency/pliability of a flour tortilla; on the other hand, i still received it, with all the contents intact. i'm sure the exact same thing would be possible in los angeles, if it actually rained there.
